Ensure your guests, family, staff and loved ones are comfortable and secure, with the presence of our friendly and highly capable security staff.
Advising on security measures to keep your property as secure as possible, and safeguarding your property and affairs against all external presences, security staff are your first port of call for peace of mind. With incidences of worldwide digital security breaches on the rise, the increase in threats to home and property is also a valid and expanding source of worry and concern for high net-worth individuals; securing your residence is of prime importance in today’s volatile and reactive economic environment.
Security is a common area of concern when no one is on the premises, but security is even more crucial while we are most vulnerable: while at home. Your estate could be seen as a ‘soft target’ which necessitates a primetime security offensive. We can provide security staff who will conduct a comprehensive review and analysis of your existing security procedures and work to minimize or eliminate risks to your household by installing current ‘best practices’ and using technology in order to identify areas for improvement and strengthen your current security system.
At Irving Scott we pride ourselves in hiring security staff who are personable as well as professional. As your first point of contact for safety concerns, security staff need to be both in order to carry out their role successfully. Our security personnel come equipped with extensive hands-on training, and some with required and pertinent certifications in their areas of specialty.
All of our staff are fully vetted and cleared through UK Law Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and the compulsory Security Industry Authority (SIA) licensing authority. We have former police and military members, both male and female, who are fully qualified with extensive experience and professional training. All of our operatives are qualified to a minimum of FPOSi, a British qualification. They would also have received training during their Military Service, many of them to a very high standard. Our operatives carry first aid or trauma packs as standard issue equipment and can be equipped with other supplies for special working conditions.
In addition to checking a potential employee’s work history and references, we also conduct additional checks (criminal, credit and psychological) of our employees to provide the right fit for your estate security plan, whether it’s a 24-hour, 7 day-a-week security detail or an occasional auxiliary service to protect family, staff and visitors on special occasions.
We offer several options to ensure peace of mind when it comes to your security:
Close Protection (Bodyguard)
A bodyguard protects clients from threats, imminent dangers and even possible kidnapping. Bodyguard training depends on the type of client needing protection. Celebrities and other recognisable public figures may require their bodyguards to dress in street clothes to avoid attention and find potential risks; other clients may need a more visible and obvious bodyguard presence.
Security measures may require bodyguards to use complex communications systems and electronic devices to check and secure vehicles, rooms, buildings, or other objects and places for the protection of a client.
Residential Security Team
An armed or unarmed Residential Security Team can unobtrusively and discreetly blend within the estate environment and lifestyle, or they can be highly visible, depending on your desires or needs. They can function as your first layer of defence and deterrent to unwanted or unauthorised access or even to thwart and disarm a personal threat to your wellbeing.
Nobody should ever feel at risk or vulnerable in their own home but unfortunately the downside of attaining wealth or fame is that it can attract a certain level of threat and create dis-ease and insecurity. A security team can work to alleviate the anxiety that often accompanies success.
Most of our Specialist Chauffeurs are from police or military backgrounds and many, (if not most) have completed a qualification in Defensive Driver Training. In addition, we can locate professionals who are certified in:
- Identify surveillance teams and potential threats
- Develop avoidance strategies
- Proficient in the most up-to-date mobile surveillance methods (smart phones, etc.)
Personal Security Awareness
- Keeping computers and client’s online presence secure
- Teaching clients theft prevention techniques and how to protect themselves from phishing, identify theft, hackers/scammers and social media trolls
