Our client is seeking a House Manager for their property in West Sussex.
Full management and day-to-day operation of a large country estate.
Responsible for carrying out all internal and external maintenance tasks around the property organising contractors for bigger tasks, this includes caring for the swimming pool.
Full management of fleet of cars, including, keeping on top off Tax, MOT, insurance, parking tickets payments, vehicle trackers. Overseeing the buying & selling of cars and also collection & delivery of vehicles.
Being the first point of call for repair. If unable to repair, find the right person for the job.
Pet care, regularly looking after 4 years old dog. Taking him for walks, vet visits, grooming. Possible weekend day-care.
Managing all service/trades men visits.
Occasional driving duties for principal. For example to/from airport, train station or other situations.
Liaising with Gardner on all garden related projects.
Ensuring the smooth running of the mechanical and electrical systems on the estate and maintaining a high-tech security system.
Replenishment of supplies/food shopping when required.
Candidates must be / have:
Hard working, and highly organised, you will have the ability to work under pressure and multi-task
Full driving licence
Statutory holiday of 20 days + Bank Holidays (days in lieu given for Bank Holidays worked)
